First, I should mention that Dr Dave is no longer at the address on Pennsylvania, in Lawrence. When I went there I was told he'd moved out "some time ago". Second, I was able to talk to Dr Dave on the phone today, and was told that he doesn't "work on custom computers". The PC in question had been running 24x7 since I built it in 2016, but the Linux Fedora 25 OS was deteriorating and I was preparing to upgrade to Fedora 40.
